Unless I’ve been totally oblivious, Apple has added 3D vector graphics to my neighbourhood. Awesome, but it seems a little late given I live about 10 KM outside the downtown core of Toronto, Canada’s largest city by a wide margin. Still, it’s nice to see progress being made.
Now, if only they could implement the correction I’ve submitted on where I actually live several times. The blue circle is pretty much exactly where I am as I write this (I’m not outside, but in the very corner of my house). The pin is where Apple thinks I live. Ugh.
Points of interest still need work too. Typing in a location name I know exists in Toronto and being given an option in Ohio or something is a little frustrating. It does seem to be improving though, albeit slowly.
I would rather work around around annoyances like that though, and stick with Apple’s Maps than use the alternative that actually used to occasionally give me directions to “sponsored locations” by default. That was really frustrating.
